LIMITED WARRANTY STATEMENT
Jean Laurent Botanica Inc.
Jean Laurent Botanica Inc.’s responsibility for merchandise is limited strictly to the terms and conditions of the applicable Manufacturer’s Warranty.
All doors manufactured by Jean Laurent Botanica Inc. are produced to the highest standards of craftsmanship and quality and are covered by a limited two (2) year warranty against defects in workmanship and materials. This warranty period begins on the date of delivery of the goods to the customer.
WHAT THIS LIMITED WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER
This Limited Warranty does not cover non-conformities, defects, or damages resulting from, attributable to, or arising out of the following:
Normal wear and tear.
Any product exceeding three feet (3′) in width and/or eight feet (8′) in height.
Finishes on locking systems (including door handles, locksets, and hinges), which are sold “AS IS” and are not warranted. This includes, but is not limited to, finish discoloration, tarnishing, scratches, abrasions, corrosion, or visual imperfections.
Environmental conditions such as salt spray, acid rain, high humidity, or other corrosive elements may adversely affect finishes and mechanical components, including multi-point locking systems.
Proper and timely maintenance is the responsibility of the Warranty Holder. Hinges and locking systems should be periodically cleaned using a soft, water-dampened cloth and dried immediately. Abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals must never be used.Hinges installed within five (5) miles of a body of salt water.
Locking systems installed within five (5) miles of a body of salt water or installed on steel products. Jean Laurent Botanica Inc. does not recommend the use of locking systems with steel products. Any such use is “AS IS” and without warranty.
Any express or implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, except as expressly stated herein.
WARRANTY VOID CONDITIONS
This Limited Warranty shall be void if the Warranty Holder or their agents fail to comply with proper handling, storage, installation, or maintenance requirements, including but not limited to:
Exposure to water, fire, or prolonged direct sunlight.
Rough handling of doors or door units.
Improper transportation or storage without adequate protection from moisture, precipitation, or sunlight.
Installation in buildings before construction materials have fully dried.
Failure to acclimate doors at the installation site for 3–4 days prior to installation.
Installation performed by unqualified or untrained personnel.
Installation of prefinished doors prior to completion of flooring, ceiling, wall priming, or painting.
Use of improper cleaning agents containing abrasives or solvents.
Improper use of aerosols or furniture sprays contrary to manufacturer recommendations.
Impact or force applied to door glass with objects capable of causing breakage.
ADDITIONAL EXCLUSIONS
This Limited Warranty does not cover damage or failure resulting from:
Faulty building design, construction defects, or structural movement.
Improper or non-compliant installation, including failure to follow building codes or certified performance standards.
Product reinstallation after removal from its original location, except for normal maintenance.
Rotting, splitting, warping, swelling, or deterioration of non–Jean Laurent Botanica Inc. frame systems.
While the use of genuine Jean Laurent Botanica Inc. components is recommended, the company does not warrant the performance of third-party frame products.Failure to promptly mitigate damages or submit a warranty claim within the warranty period.
Improper pre-installation storage or insufficient ventilation in humid environments.
Any modification, painting, staining, or alteration of factory-applied finishes.
Natural variations in wood color, grain, or texture.
Minor expansion or contraction due to environmental conditions.
Accidental glass breakage or impact damage.
Products shipped outside the continental United States.
REMEDIES UNDER THIS WARRANTY
If a Product fails to conform to this Limited Warranty within two (2) years from the date of purchase, Jean Laurent Botanica Inc., at its sole discretion, will:
Repair the Product; or
Replace the Product in the same stage of fitting or finish as originally supplied; or
Refund the original purchase price paid to Jean Laurent Botanica Inc.
ADDITIONAL LIMITATIONS AND LEGAL RIGHTS
This Limited Warranty does not guarantee safety for persons or property, nor does it render any premises hurricane-proof or impact-resistant.
Jean Laurent Botanica Inc. is not responsible for transportation, shipping, removal, labor, installation costs, or any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Liability under this warranty shall not exceed the original purchase price of the defective Product.
Some state laws do not allow limitations on implied warranties or exclusions of incidental or consequential damages; therefore, certain limitations may not apply to you.
This warranty provides specific legal rights, and you may have additional rights depending on your state.
ACTS OF GOD
This Limited Warranty does not cover damage caused by acts of God, including but not limited to hurricanes, floods, fire, high winds, or other extreme conditions exceeding product design specifications. It is the responsibility of the Warranty Holder to comply with all applicable local building codes and regulations.
WARRANTY CLAIM PROCEDURE
All warranty claims must be submitted in writing, accompanied by proof of purchase, prior to any repair work, and sent to:

Jean Laurent Botanica Inc. reserves the right and must be given thirty (30) days to inspect the Product through a company-authorized representative.
