TERMS & CONDITIONS
Jean Laurent Botanica Inc.
These Terms and Conditions constitute the complete and exclusive agreement between the Buyer and Jean Laurent Botanica Inc. (“Seller”) regarding the sale of products listed on any invoice. No additional terms or conditions contained in the Buyer’s purchase order or in any prior or subsequent communication shall be binding unless expressly agreed to in writing by the Seller.
ACCEPTANCE OF ORDERS
All orders are accepted and processed in accordance with these Terms and Conditions upon issuance of a purchase acknowledgment. The acknowledgment may be a copy of the order or an electronic transaction confirmation. Upon acknowledgment, the Seller agrees to provide the applicable goods and arrange delivery as specified.
PRICES
The Buyer acknowledges that the Seller is not responsible for any taxes, duties, or governmental charges imposed on the sale or transfer of goods. Prices listed on the website are subject to change without notice and are stated in U.S. dollars.
DELIVERY
Curbside delivery means the Product will be delivered to the curb at the end of the driveway. Placement inside the home, driveway positioning, unpacking, or removal of packaging materials is not included.
A valid street address is required to process an order. Any address changes must be reported within 24 hours of placing the order. If a shipment is delivered to an incorrect address due to Buyer error, the Buyer is responsible for all additional shipping and handling costs.
Delivery is scheduled for the date and time selected at purchase. The Seller shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or expense resulting from delayed or failed delivery.
Upon receipt of delivery, the Buyer must inspect all packages before signing the bill of lading. Any visible damage must be noted on the bill of lading. Concealed damage or missing parts must be reported to the Seller within 48 hours of delivery. Failure to comply will void eligibility for replacement.
The Seller is not responsible for transportation, shipping, removal, labor, or installation costs related to Product replacement.
ORDER MODIFICATION OR CANCELLATION
Order cancellations require written approval signed by the Seller. Order modifications are permitted only within 48 hours of order confirmation.
Cancellations within 48 hours are allowed; however, credit card transactions are subject to a 4% processing fee. Once an order has been delivered to a carrier, cancellations are subject to a 50% cancellation fee, excluding shipping costs, which are non-refundable.
Special orders are non-cancellable and non-refundable.
The Seller may cancel an order without liability if:
The Buyer breaches this Agreement;
The Buyer becomes insolvent;
The Buyer files for bankruptcy protection; or
The Buyer enters liquidation or a similar process.
PAYMENT TERMS
Payment in full is due within thirty (30) days of invoice issuance unless otherwise stated. Overdue balances are subject to interest at 1.5% per month or the maximum rate allowed by law, whichever is lower.
The Buyer agrees to reimburse the Seller for all collection costs, including attorney fees and court costs, incurred in recovering overdue amounts.
TAXES
All applicable taxes, duties, and freight charges imposed by government authorities are included in the invoice total unless otherwise stated.
PRODUCTION LEAD TIME
In-stock doors: 14 business days
Expedited non-precut slabs: 6 business days
Special orders: 14–18 weeks, subject to confirmation
Production lead time begins the day after both full payment and a signed sales order confirmation are received. Shipping time (1–14 business days) is not included in production lead time. Shipment occurs only after full payment is completed.
LIMITED WARRANTY
Jean Laurent Botanica Inc. provides a Limited Warranty for Products and Services sold. By purchasing, the Buyer acknowledges familiarity with the warranty terms. Warranty claims must comply with published warranty procedures and require professional installation by licensed installers.
DIMENSIONAL TOLERANCE
Dimensional tolerances are determined at shipment and may vary due to environmental exposure.
Width: ±1/8 inch
Height: ±1/8 inch
Thickness: ±1/16 inch
Hardware machining tolerances and recommended clearances apply as specified at time of shipment.
TRANSPORTATION AND RISK OF LOSS
Shipment method and route are selected by the Seller unless otherwise instructed. Ownership transfers to the Buyer upon delivery to the designated destination. Refusal of delivery constitutes repudiation of this Agreement.
Free delivery promotions apply to the initial attempt only. Subsequent delivery attempts may incur additional fees. The Seller is not responsible for customs or brokerage fees for shipments outside the United States.
WARRANTY DISCLAIMER
Jean Laurent Botanica Inc. strives to provide accurate and current product information but does not guarantee accuracy at all times. Buyers are responsible for verifying details with authorized representatives.
INDEMNIFICATION
The Buyer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Jean Laurent Botanica Inc., its affiliates, employees, and agents from all claims, damages, losses, and expenses arising from improper use, storage, modification, or breach of these Terms.
GOVERNING LAW
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas, with exclusive jurisdiction in Travis County, Texas. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.
SPECIAL ORDERS
Pre-hung, pre-cut, or customized doors are non-returnable and non-refundable.
REFUNDS AND RETURNS
Jean Laurent Botanica Inc. does not accept returns or refunds for pre-hung, pre-cut, customized, or final-sale items. Eligible Products may be returned within 45 days of receipt, subject to:
A 50% restocking fee
Buyer-paid return shipping
Warehouse inspection and approval
Installed Products are non-returnable.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Jean Laurent Botanica Inc. shall not be liable for incidental, consequential, or indirect damages. Liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the Product.
Color variations due to display settings or natural material characteristics are not considered defects. Buyers are encouraged to request samples prior to purchase.
RESALE OR EXPORT
All purchases are for personal use only and may not be resold or exported in violation of U.S. law.
PICK-UP POLICY
Buyers may elect self-pickup. Orders must be collected or delivery confirmed within 7 days of notification. Storage fees of $50 per day apply thereafter.
WARP MEASUREMENT & TOLERANCE
Warp must be measured using a taut string or straight-edge on the concave face of the door with the door open.
Allowable Warp:
1-3/4” Doors
Up to 3’6” × 7’0”: max 1/4”
Larger sizes: max 1/4” per 3’6” × 7’0” section
1-3/8” Doors
Up to 3’0” × 7’0”: max 1/4”
Larger sizes are not covered under this standard.
